How do I deactivate someone from my site? How do I delete a user?
*Note: Only site administrators can deactivate a user from a site. If you want to deactivate yourself, either contact your site's administrator or email FMYI Support at support@fmyi.com.
Instructions on how to deactivate a certain user:
- Type the person's name in the "Search this site..." field on the right.
- Click on their name to enter their Profile page.
- In the top right hand corner click the "Page actions" dropdown menu and choose "Administer."
- Under "Status" choose "Deactivate" before clicking "Update."
Instructions on how to deactivate several users:
- Click on the "Admin" tab.
- Select "Manage people" in the "Administer control panel."
- Select "Update users" and then "Deactivate users" from the "Select what to do..." dropdown menu.
- Select which users to deactivate by marking a check next to them below.
- Click the "Batch update" button.
